Not rather what I expected…

I’ve been using Neutrogena face washes for years, but have always been in liquid form and liked them. Thought these cleansing cloths looked interesting so I’m giving them a try. The cloths come dry. You’re suppose to wet your face and the cloth before using. The cloth is not inevitably that soft and will not lather up very much. The ‘rough’ side doesn’t seem very rough at basi take, but you’ve got to be careful not to use too much strength scrubbing your face or else it’ll get irritated. When rinsing face, it doesn’t feel like the cleanser is all rinsed out because my face doesn’t have that squeaky clean sentiment to it which a good deal of people may say that’s not a bad thing. While it hasn’t injure my face, the experience of the cloths is just not what I thought it was going to be. I will still use up my supply of them though.

Exhilarating and freshening Facial Cleanser

Exhilarating….

This was my introductory experience with Tea Tree Oil. I found this “Desert Essence – Tea Tree Oil Facial Cleansing Pads”(50) at Trader Joe’s and because I have always found anything they stock to be natural and skin friendly, I gave these a try. If you are new to Tea Tree Oil, you are in for a pleasant surprise.

I have acne prone skin that is likewise very sensitive. I’m oily in summer and normal/dry in winter. Using this product in conjunction with the Thoroughly Clean wash with tea tree and awapuhi has worked wonders for my skin. The pads support control oil and safely heal acne overnight. It does smell awful, but when it’s rinsed, there’s no residuary smell. In the summer, when I’m actually oily, I use the pads twice a day (morning and night) with each wash. In the winter, I have to reduce use to once at night. I’ve had the best results using the two Desert Essences merchandise to cleanse and moisturizing with Suki Moisture Serum with echinacea and chamomile.

AMAZING!! I have not had pimples in a month!!

I never write reviews but I’m shocked by what this has done to my skin. I have been using this for regarding 2 months now and my skin has DRASTICALLY changed. I had actually bad acne problems. I was breaking out for the past year and was on the verge of going to the dermatologist because I looked horrible. Even my friends were beginning to comment on my skin. Then, I went to TJ’s and purchased these. Well, the smell almost knocked me over but I didn’t let it stop me. I would say it took in regards to a month for my face to clear up. I still have acne scars (aargh!!) but I have ZERO pimples. I have been pimple-free for with regards to a month and my skin is RADIANT! There are days when I see a pimple attempting to form but this stuff makes it go away!! I’m telling you–this stuff rocks!

Much better than Proactiv

As somebody engaged in a struggle with acne for over 20 years, I feel that I have good authority to rate this product as there is not one thing for acne that I haven’t tried. This thing works, and works beautifully. I was using Proactiv before and, altho it helped a little, it made my skin super flaky and irritated, and the acne was still there. Still, it was the best thing that I had tried, so I employed it for years. Proactiv didn’t stop my breakouts, though, and on occasion they were so bad that you couldn’t tell that I was using an acne treatment twice a day, religiously. Proactiv client service told me to undertake the super strength formula, which didn’t support either.

I have tried all of these Acne kits, Proactiv, Clean & Clean, PanOxyl, Neutrogena, Clearasil, Aveeno, and even tried assorted PRESCRIBED Acne medications and kits and had so much feeling of annoyance at being hindered or criticized after time and time again seeing little to no results and an empty wallet! Finally, I had sufficient and went out on a limb and purchased Burts Bees Acne two week kit. I was full of doubt and in regards to to except the fact that I will always have Acne (im 22 now and have suffered from the condition ever since i was 14) Only a few days later I was already starting to detect the difference! The biggest modify I saw RIGHT AWAY was the redness was disappearing! And after two weeks I have no new break outs and may see a HUGE divergence in my skin! These reviews are freakin me out

I want to begin this out by saying that this is not a review of this product, but my thoughts after reading the other reviews. I don’t trust a single one of the 5-star reviews. They all look very distrustful to me, for assorted reasons.

The introductory reason is that in all of the 5-stars the persons either wrote the review TO the author or brought up his name in the review. This was not done in any of the 4,3,2, and 1-star reviews. The writing style in all of the 5-stars is very similar, and a number of them use quotation remarks, which again is not done in any other reviews. I just checked, and a few of them are genuinely copied and pasted from the book’s website.

Thirdly, these reviews look distrustful to me because they are merely too effusively glowing. People just don’t write like that. “i be grateful for everything you have written, & i praise you very much,” “I can’t thank you enough,” “I closely feel guilty now, because the selective information in the book is worth twice or three times as much as the retail price,” etc etc.

Extreme treatment in too a good deal of words

The treatment involves enema which is probably an obstacle for a great deal of persons as you have no idea if this is gonna work or not.

Most of the text in this book is stuff you may read online and the author’s story of his experience with acne. If you like other people’s acne stories there is a lot online you don’t buy books for that.

So if you like to undertake enema and apples for 3 days and hope for the best it might be the book for you. If not don’t bother buying this.

I purchased this book for my teenage son. For starters it was very expensive, for two the suggestions were terrible and had no medical believability at all. To commend fasting and starvation and frequent enemas is altogether dangerous. I am a nurse and I can not believe that an individual could get away with publishing something like this. He is inflicting hurt on his readers if they follow his suggestions. Dont buy this.

Works With Strings Attached

Since I was 11 or 12 I’ve had acne issues – it started out mild but in the long run my skin became oily and filled with acne; Now 18 years old, I’ve tried ProActive, Clearasil, and now this AcneFree system.

First of all, let me say: Don’t waste your time on ProActive. Of the three I cited above, it was the least effective. ProActive is just fundamentally watered-down Clearasil, which is great for use on mild acne.

However, for moderate to severe acne, I highly commend this product. I’ve been using it for a little more than two weeks and, while my face is not wholly free of acne (although I suspect it will be soon), it is much less irritated and my skin does feel softer. I don’t have galore bumps, just red blotches where the acne used to be. These mild blotches are going away each passing day.

HOWEVER, I must state: while this product is outstanding for severe acne and works well (yes, better than ProActive, in my opinion) I would NOT commend using it for mild acne or as a good deal of kind of skin care treatment. These are POTENT chemicals that you are putting on your face/chest/back, not a heap of mild antibiotics.

Now, my skin has been very tolerant to acne medications therefore far, and I have not experienced any itching, peeling or irritation. However, this product did BURN around my eyes. DO NOT USE IT WITHIN AN INCH OF YOUR EYES! THEY SAY IT WILL BURN, AND THEY MEAN IT!

The third step of the morning routine, which I believe in the repair lotion, is a gritty, sandpaper-feeling substance. In the beginning, it stung when I put it on because of it is rough texture and the fact that my skin was sensible due to the acne. However, once your skin begins to clear up, it won’t bother you so much anymore. For a week or two, you just have to soldier on and deal with it. It is likewise possible that it will arid your skin out. What a lot of reviewers don’t understand, however, is that this is SUPPOSED to happen. That is how Benzoyl Peroxide and other acne medications work – they arid out the affected area to kill the bacteria and other impurities that cause acne. Worked BETTER than Proactiv!!

First off I want to explain that I have had terrible acne off and on (mostly on though) for the past 8 years. I had to be put on Accutane my sophmore year for 6 months in high school and then again my freshman year of college for another 3 months. I have been engaged in a struggle ever since then and necessitated an substitute to dermatoligist bills and prescriptions for acne treatment.

I only started breaking out with acne in my early thirties. After attempting the Loreal adult acne scheme for 2 months & Proactiv for 6 months with minimal results, I decisive to give this a try. Yes, it made my skin very arid the primary few weeks but I applied a moisturizer over it held using it and got fantastic results. After acne for 17 years, I am now 97% acne free

Just like a lot of of the reviewers here, I have tried EVERYTHING over the years, prescription medication (oral and topical), vitamins, Proactive, diet, 2 courses of acutane. Nothing worked, and my skin is very sensitive, and naturally very oily, and scars very easily. I purchased this book over 1 year ago and at last understood the reasons behind how acne developed, and the need to use dissimilar merchandise to control dissimilar phases of the acne cycle.

After putting the scientific selective information in this book together with other books, my routine is this:

Morning: Wash 1x with 2% Salicylic Wash – Oil Free Acne Wash, Neutrogena ($5), then wash again with Proactive’s 2.5% BP cleanser. Use Proactive’s toner and 2.5% BP treatment cream, then spf 30 sunscreen.

Evening: Wash 1x with Noxema Triple Clean Cleanser–has Triclosan ($5), then wash again with Glycolic Acid – 7% Glycolic Exfoliating Wash, DDF. ($27, Sephora). Then from time to time use a 2% hydroquinone product to tardily remove scars, but normally not one thing else at night.

Thats right, you. This book is effective, but only if followed 100 percent correctly. The method in this book does work, but only if you follow it systematically each day at the specific hour and specific procedure and all the micro details involved in the process. Terry J Dubrow is a outstanding researcher and doctor, but when it comes to communication his points, I find that to be his biggest flaw. His Acne Cure Program, the procedure is not listed PRECISELY clear, he wrote it beneath the assumption that we recognise incisively what to use for morning, night, etc… So let me clarify for you my friends.

Morning: Step 1:

S-Acid first, make sure you add a few drop of water, and leave it on face for at least 2 minutes. The ammount listed is the size of penny. Now don’t assume thats sufficient for your entire face. [When you leave the pack over your face, it becomes hard to breathe and you use your mouth to breathe in air, and for the duration of that process, it may heat up the ice pack quicker] So imagine reusing one pack thats not even cold after one tiome usage on other constituents of your face… It becomes INCONSISTENT! So you need 3 ice packs for 3 constituents of your face, leave it on together covering your entire face, that way each pack are consecrated to each specific area of your problem area. In the book it was not detailed, because it would have no problem treating a couple of pimples with one pack, but with intermediate sufferers, it’s not sufficient.

3 packs. Get extra 3 packs, the reason is, 1 night of cooling is not sufficient to deeply make the pack cold, so if you have 6 pack, you may interchange the pack for rotation which leaves more time for the packs to absorb the chilliness and last longer for the duration of that 10 minute treatment. This is exceedingly important, a heap of times it felt like it wasn’t “effective” or not satisfy when it’s not cold enough. So you must keep it cold and feel “fulfilled” inside.

Once time is up, grab the towel, wipe off the excess BP gel and leave the remaining to work overnight. Do this each evening after night shower or before going to bed. Wash your packs, put it in freezer, put BP gel in fridge. And there you have it. Your night time routine.

If you follow the day time routine and night time routine EVERYDAY WITHOUT MESSING UP ONCE and doing it ON TIME, it will work, give it at least 6-7 weeks before you say this does not work, a great deal of people may detect prompt betterment the next day. This program works, but use it in moderation.

I was struggling with acne for 17 yrs, and the program outlined in this book gave positive results in less than one week. It has even made those dreaded “cystic” ones a thing of the past. However, I do agree that it is a somewhat harsh regimen. I would consider my skin to be VERY lasting and not irritated without apparent effort at all; yet at when it comes to the two week mark, my skin started to peel and get genuinely dried out.

My suggestion to any person wanting to give this a shot is to use the full protocol sparingly when basi attempting it out (perhaps each other evening) or try what another reviewer suggested and tardily add each factor to your cleansing ritual. I personally use a 2% salicylic wash by Neutrogena each AM and on each other PM (like I said, I have tough skin). On the evenings I don’t use the salycylic wash, I use an exceedingly mild soap and will substitute amid using the glycolic acid and the benzoyl peroxide.

Sounds confusing? Well, it takes a bit of commitment to keep it straight, but the results are very much worth it. Finally! Even Skin Tone

I have lived with acne for more than 35 years. VERY pleased

I started having difficultnesses with adult onset acne at regarding age 25 – am now 40. Have tried everything – oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics, retin-a, etc. etc. Despite attempting a good deal of dermatologists, I never got what I considered good results – just a three minute visit and a couple of scripts. Decided to try this – at the price, not one thing to lose. Man am I pleased. For the original time, acne is resolved (I have employed the peel once a week for when it comes to six weeks). Great Product on Ebony Skin

I started getting acne young, when i was in regards to 10 and i did not recognise how to look after my skin then. No cleansing, toning or even moisturizing because i thought that would give me more spots, what a fool i was.
The problem with black skin is that it hyperpigments easy and by the time i was 21 i couldnt bare to look at myself in the mirror, i had so galore acne scars i couldnt stand it. Dermatologists were no help, the pills and creams are useless if you do not have a good skin care regimen which is something the doctors do not normally tell you.
In 2001 called around and was told by everyone on Harley Street that dermabrasion and skin peels were not for black skin tones so i salaried £1800
for lazer treatment. It worked to some extent, the spots went and my skin looked clearer but if i had known when it comes to this product i will not have bothered.
The truth is that these skin acids may and are employed safely on ebony skin tones and have been for years. Great for a light peel

Product works great, noticeable prompt improvement, though not drastic. I have been repeating it and have not had harsh results, just the expected peeling. I have big pores on my nose, chin and amongst eyebrows. After the peel I observe a change in pore depth and size. I am very impressed.
