Tint rubs off; won’t scrub off, but protects well

The box says this sunscreen dries clear, but it’s tinted and the tint rubs off on clothing. (It does wash out in the laundry, but it gets all over clothing). The suncreen never “dried” and was always sticky. I was in Hawaii and the humidity and heat were not that bad and so I was expecting it to be drier on my skin.

It did protect me very well and was exceedingly water resistant… and soap resistant… and washcloth resistant. In fact the only way it came off was to get a nylon scrubby and scrub.

I have PMLE (an extreme photosensistivity), and my dermatologist recommened this brand. The lotion did prevent a major out break and was exceedingly water resistant. So for that, it’ gets three stars. However, I found that if I was not going out on a boat or doing hours of water acitivities that the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin (SPF 30 and with 9% Zinc) was just as effective and did not stain. It washed off more without apparent effort (but still necessitated scrubbing).

Becuase this was so effective, I’ll undertake the Clear next time. I did not get the Clear for this trip as it wasn’t available on next day shipping in order for me to get this before I left on my trip.

Best Sunblock Ever!

I am in my mid-30s and since I was a teenager I’ve applied well over 20 brands of sunblock, all over SPF 15. Fallene Cotz is the ONLY sunblock I’ve employed that does not irritate my skin, does not feel like a mask, does not cause me to sweat (my skin may breathe!), does not feel greasy, goes on smoothly, provides finish tanning prevention, and is lowcost (unlike cosmetic counter sunblocks). I lately swopped from Proactiv sunscreen SPF 20 to Cotz. Since Proactiv was formulated by dermatologists, I assumed it would be ideal. Not quite. Proactiv left my face sentiment like I had on a cellophane mask. It was greasy, and when I started out to perspire, it melted. Yuck! Cotz does none of that and I get better tanning prevention! Cotz has a slight beige tint to it which helps since titanium dioxide is white. Just blend evenly over face and neck and forget in regards to it!
My only complaint is that shipping directly from Fallene took over 4 weeks. I would commend getting it from another shipper or order it early enough.

This product is my Holy Grail

My skin and I haven’t been on speaking terms for years. Horrible, brutal, stubborn, disfiguring cystic acne, so savagely tenacious that I had to go through…yes, count ‘em…not one, but TWO rounds of Accutane to rid my self of it, and I STILL get a nice cyst on my back or chest each once in a while. I had pockmarks on top of pockmarks…forehead, cheeks, temples, chin, bridge of my nose even. I hate my skin, I in truth do. I’ve gone through 2 deep dermabrasions (through a plastic surgeon, not the micro kind), plus with regards to 30 DEEP chemical peels. My scarring bettered a lot.

I always tend to stay away from chemical peels because of the horror stories I listen and because I have fair, oily, acne prone skin.

I purchased the 35% peel just to undertake it; to see if I’m missing anything. I’m sorry I didn’t have the guts to try it sooner. )

It is utterly fantastic. I had a couple of breakouts I could not, for the life of me, get rid of. I put this on with a cotton ball, and I did wait the full 4 minutes; it tingled, but did not burn in any way. I washed it off and thought “okay, no miracles here”. My face did feel smoother but that’s regarding it.

The next two days I noticed rather the improvement. My chin cleared up and my face was, again, smoother, and more even and most importantly, no breakouts. I did not need to even put on powder (which I did not live without).

You do have to use a moisturizer after the peel. I did the introductory time, but because my face is oily, I didn’t use one the second time. BIG mistake! My face was red and it still tingled 20 minutes after I rinsed off the peel.
As soon as I put moisturizer on, my face felt better and the redness went away.

This peel works wonders for me. I will keep on using it. It’s unquestionably worth the money.

Much better than Proactiv

As someone engaged in a struggle with acne for over 20 years, I feel that I have good authority to rate this product as there is not one thing for acne that I haven’t tried. This thing works, and works beautifully. I was using Proactiv before and, though it helped a little, it made my skin super flaky and irritated, and the acne was still there. Still, it was the best thing that I had tried, so I applied it for years. Proactiv didn’t stop my breakouts, though, and on occasion they were so bad that you couldn’t tell that I was using an acne treatment twice a day, religiously. Proactiv client service told me to undertake the super strength formula, which didn’t help either.

I have tried all of these Acne kits, Proactiv, Clean & Clean, PanOxyl, Neutrogena, Clearasil, Aveeno, and even tried assorted PRESCRIBED Acne medications and kits and had so much feeling of annoyance at being hindered or criticized after time and time again seeing little to no results and an empty wallet! Finally, I had sufficient and went out on a limb and purchased Burts Bees Acne two week kit. I was full of doubt and when it comes to to except the fact that I will always have Acne (im 22 now and have suffered from the condition ever since i was 14) Only a few days later I was already starting to detect the difference! The greatest change I saw RIGHT AWAY was the redness was disappearing! And after two weeks I have no new break outs and may see a HUGE divergence in my skin! It does work–but you will need to keep buying it.

I have to tell you that the betterment won’t be until you use perhaps five or more tubes over five months. The tube is not that big and it doesn’t last all that long. It is costly, no matter where you buy it–the Internet or your local store. But, it is the only scar product I have tried that does what it says it will do—so for the third time: don’t suppose your scars to be 100% gone, even after five or six tubes. BUT: you will be pleased—very, very pleased, indeed. I would say a 90% improvement, and that is wonderful. But not from one tube. I do commend it and I like it. Not messy and don’t use too much as it flakes off. Follow directions. It is a fine product, but buy in bulk!!!

Two and a half months ago, I had a mole got rid of from my upper lipline. Removal involved a vertical incision and six stiches. A few days after the stitches were removed, I started applying Mederma 2 to 3 times per day. I’ve employed it for just over two months now. The scar color has in truth faded (it may without apparent effort be covered with make up now). The scar tissue is now scarcely raised and is flexible. I purchased this because it was highly commended for acne scars, which I have, on a few dissimilar web pages I searched. I had to stop using this after three days because like the other reviewer my face turned reddish and discolered on the areas I applied this gel. I’m attempting to take attention away from problem areas on my face not to it. I likewise purchased the new and bettered fresh scent formula. I’m not sure what’s considered a fresh scent in Germany(where it’s made) but this stuff stinks. I’m going to undertake it on the stretch marks on my arms where I don’t mind it being red but never on my face again.

This does seem to work, surprisingly, as described. I’ve almost finished the bottle and I will proceed to buy this product. It does help control oil (for a short while), doesn’t sting at all, has a pleasant but light citrus scent, and it genuinely does work double-duty as a light moisturizer and acne lotion.

Update 3/23: This is still working for me, and I still love it. Normally by now I would be discouraged with the acne product and be ready to try something else, but not this time.

When it was discontinued, I purchased up all the leftover tubes I could find…and when those at last ran out, I scoured the stores and internet for a replacement. I tried two or three highpriced products. Not only were they drying, my skin seemed to “rebound” and I was getting what I would characterize as persistent, moderate acne. So there I was with a red, flakey, zitty face, when I decisive to undertake the Neutrogena Rapid Clear lotion. I thought the 2% salicylic acid would be too much, but I’m happy to report that the lotion is comforting and not overdrying at all. I use a thin layer over my entire face morning and night. I have been using it for a couple of months, and in the introductory two weeks my skin did without doubt “rapidly clear.” I am not even in truth getting much in the way of my popular per month breakouts. In fact, I think it works better than the Aveeno. Ah, relief. Glad I purchased the three pack.

I’ve been using Clean and Clear persa gel for regarding four/five years, and I’ve started using this lotion for less than a year now and I’m exhaustively impressed! I have gorgeous bad breakouts on my forehead and around my mouth, and ever since I started using this, with the Oil Free Acne Wash (pink grapefruit), I have seen very few big breakouts like I use to. This product has salicylic acid which genuinely helps and prevents those huge, major breakouts for eight hours. I genuinely love this product ’cause it treats my acne and it’s a lotion, so no arid skin!
